A common problem for many of the better golfers is to struggle with hooking the ball.
A good golfer can usually fix a hook with this simple drill in practice.
Placing the ball on the turf a hitting it from there with the driver forces you to make some adjustments and compensations.
It’s often better for a golfer to find these adjustments naturally rather than getting into technical swing thoughts. Usually practising this drill on the range for a few minutes will get the job done.
Once you have started hitting the driver well from the ground try teeing the ball up on the course a little bit lower than normal.
If facing a shot on the course where hooking it would cause a big problem try teeing down low which will be easier to hit than off the deck but have the same effect.
